I am having an issue installing a VPN client. According the vendors web site, KB entries at Cisco on the same subject and the answers to a question regarding not being able to install VPN clients (reference http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itpronetworking/thread/4DEB27FC-33CE-4FC0-A26F-3FEC5B57733D),modifing this registry key from the default of 7 to 14 will resolve my problem. However, I am not finding this registry key on my laptop. I thought about adding it but cannot find a reference to the correct entries. Any suggestions?

If you don't see the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters, you may want to cerate it yourself.
